HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R)

The “Children’s Memorial Health Institute” expressed its support for the provisions resulting from the “European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers” by signing in August 2016 the Declaration of Support for the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The Charter and the Code aim to ensure equal rights and obligations for researchers across Europe, defining the roles, responsibilities and rights of researchers and employers.

In order to obtain the prestigious HR Logo award (HR Excellence in Research), the “Children’s Memorial Health Institute” prepared an internal analysis and conducted a survey for researchers. The results of the survey were the basis for taking decisions by the CMHI related to actions aimed at removing the non-conformities existing in the Institute with reference to the provisions in the Charter and the Code. Thanks to the HR Strategy with the corrective action plan, on 7 June 2017, the “Children’s Memorial Health Institute” received the HR Logo distinction. The implementation of the Charter and the Code is a continuous process monitored by the specially appointed Team for the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers at the CMHI and the European Commission.
