Biography:
- PhD in Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology and laboratory diagnostician in the Microbiological Lab in the The Children’s Memorial Health Insitute (CMHI) in Warsaw which is the referral pediatric hospital for Poland
- author or co-author of 12 original papers in English press (with the index in pubmed), over a dozen original articles in the polish press, over a dozen reviewed articles concerned urinary tract infections and bacterial resistance to antibiotics
- contributed to a number book chapters on these topics
- one of several translators of the Stedman Great Medical Dictionary, responsible for words in the field of microbiology
Qualifications and trainings:
- specialisation in clinical microbiology
- other qualifications: internal auditor in integrated menagement system IPCZD
Research interests:
- doctorate and research work mainly devoted to epidemiology of hospital infections, with multiresistant bacteria, included genetic typing using method rep-PCR and PFGE
