Children’s Memprial Health Institute (CMHI) in Warsaw is the largest and the most modern third level of reference paediatric hospital in Poland and a research institute (A category) contributing to contemporary paediatrics. Except hematology and orthopedics all fields of paediatrics are represented in the CMHI. Modern diagnostics and treatment options are offered for paediatric patients of all age subsets of paediatric population from all over the country. The CMHI has got more than 45 years experience in paediatric research, including clinical trials. Our paediatric liver and kidney transplantation program is one of the largest in the world.
The Center for Paediatric Clinical Trials Support (CPCTS) is the only one stand alone paediatric facility in Poland. The mission of CPCTS is to increase high quality ethical research dedicated into medicinal products’ development for paediatric population.
The CPCTS actively initiates scientific projects using new research tools in drug’s development (e.g. modeling and simulation, extrapolation) to obtain more information without unnecessary studies in children. The scope of the CPCTS’s activities support the mission of the CMHI „We treat at the highest level. The child is in the Centre”.
