Biography:

  • assistant at the Public Health Department at the The Children’s Memorial Health Institute (CMHI) in Warsaw, which is the reference pediatric hospital for Poland
  • contributed to public health projects: OLAF (EEA & Norway Grants), OLA (NCBiR), ToyBox (7th EU Framework Program), Zachowaj Równowagę (Swiss Contribution), and 2 projects financed under the National Health Program (operational objective 1: Improving the way of nutrition, nutritional status and physical activity of the society)
  • participated in the elaboration of reference ranges of arterial blood pressure for the population of children and adolescents in Poland (OLAF and OLA project)
  • author/co-author of 68 publications (37 indexed in PubMed) regarding health of children and adolescents, including socio-economic determinants of physical development, arterial blood pressure, underweight, overweight and obesity
