- pathophysiological/pathogenetic mechanisms in chronic diseases of the digestive system (eg: celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, α-1 anti-trypsin deficiency, Wilson’s disease)
- other autoimmune diseases (eg: type 1 diabetes) and allergic (eg: food allergies)
