  • deputy head at the Pediatric Surgery and Organ Transplantation Department
  • member of: Polish Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Polish Transplantation Society, European Society of Transplantation and Polish Association of Pediatric Gastroenterologists and Nutrition
  • author of 63 full text publications, 23 with the IF
  • author of 6 monographs and co-author of 7 mongraphs of chapters in medical textbooks dedicated to pediatric surgery and surgical aspects of liver transplantation

Qualifications and trainings:

  • participation in first Polish liver transplantation in child, first simultaneous liver and bowel transplantation, simultaneous liver and kidney transplantation, transplantation of liver from living donor
  • participation in the implementation and development of laparoscopic surgery in children and extension of surgical treatment of Crohn`s desease (classic and laparoscopic method) in children
  • liver surgery including non anatomical resections in children

  • liver and kidney transplant surgery
  • liver transplantation in children with acute liver failure
  • primary liver cancers
  • role of liver transplantation in the treatment of unresectable liver cancers
  • surgical treatment of neonatal cholestasis
  • Hirschsprung disease
  • Crohn’s disease and other gut motility disorders in children
