Biography:
- assistant professor in the Department of Public Health in the The Children’ s Memorial Health Institute (CMHI) in Warsaw which is the referral pediatric hospital for Poland
- contributed to projects: OLAF (financed through EEA Grants Norway Grants), OLA (financed through the National Centre for Research and Development) and European project TOYBOX
- Principal Investigator in the children and adolescents nutrition status and diet assessment projects implemented within National Health Programs
- published over 100 peer reviewed papers (over 40 indexed in pubmed)
Qualifications and trainings:
- completed anesthesia and intensive care Ist degee postgraduate tranining, postgraduate studies in health economics and application of SAS software to business analyses
- other medical/research skills: epidemiology and medical statistics, GCP, clinical research methodology
Research interests:
- research and clinical work devoted primarily to reference systems of blood pressure and anthropometric parameters of children and adolescents, epidemiology of overweight and obesity in the developmental age population as well as the nutritional status and diet of children and adolescents
