Biography:

  • graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Warsaw University in the field of biotechnology (specialization: molecular biology)
  • since 2004 Children’s Memorial Health Institute (CMHI) employee (steadily advanced in profession and science)
  • 2012: doctoral degree in medical biology
  • personally, she mother of sons and choral singer

Qualifications and trainings:

  • command of numerous laboratory techniques: RIA, ELISA, CLIA, HPLC, spectrophotometry, fluorometry, cell culture;
  • ability to support basic and specialized laboratory equipment: immunochemistry analysers, spectrophotometers, microplate readers, high-pressure liquid chromatographs;
  • basal knowledge of LC/MS-MS and molecular biology techniques;
  • basal conversance of bioinformatics;
  • the essentials of densitometry;
  • practical knowledge of medical statistics issues;
  • awareness of GLP area.

Research interests:

  • research interests: bone metabolism and calcium-phosphate homeostasis, especially on pleiotropic action of vitamin D, endocrine role of bone tissue
  • implementing of new biomarkers and methods in laboratory diagnostics
  • metabolomics issues (search for new biomarkers) and endocrinological and immunological problems (peering of pathomechanisms in short stature, diabetes, obesity, autoimmune disorders)
