We invite doctors interested in interventional cardiology for participation in the “Program of comprehensive training in interventional cardiology in children – PO WER-KID” carried out by The Children’s Memorial Health Institute together with the Silesian Medical University, Medical University in Poznan and the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw.

The aim of the project, financed by the European Union under the Knowledge, Education and Development Operational Program, is to increase the number of physicians trained in interventional cardiology at the basic and advanced level through the development of their professional competences and qualifications, including activities based on medical simulation methods. The project will be implemented in 2019-2022. It includes participation in courses on morphology of the cardiovascular system and congenital heart defects, the basis of pediatric interventional cardiology and psychological aspects of pediatric interventional cardiology. The main part of the training will be practical classes in the workshops of pediatric interventional cardiology. Courses and practical classes will be conducted using modern medical simulation techniques.
