On 13th–15th March 2025, Bologna (Italy) hosted the general meeting and scientific conference of the European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure (EPTRI) – a European initiative supporting the development of innovative translational research in paediatrics.
The Children’s Memorial Health Institute, as a founding member of EPTRI, had the honour of actively participating in this event.
During the plenary session, Dr Marek Migdał, Director of the Institute, gave a lecture in which he presented the path taken by EPTRI – from the concept of a research project to a fully functioning European infrastructure supporting the development of paediatric therapies.
Dr Aleksander Wiśniewski presented the activities and achievements of the POLPEDNET Kids group of young experts, operating at our Institute. This group brings together committed young people who support clinical research in paediatrics through educational activities, volunteering and social initiatives.
