The April’s issue of the Journal of Hepatology (IF 26.8) features the latest international guidelines for the treatment of Wilson’s disease.

The guidelines were prepared under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Socha with the support of Dr Wojciech Jańczyk from the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Eating Disorders and Paediatrics at the CMHI.

The authors of the guidelines are a group of experts from leading European centres of hepatology, paediatric hepatology and neurology. The article was written under the auspices of EASL (European Association Study of the Liver) and ERN Rare Liver.

The practical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of Wilson’s disease are addressed to various medical specialists treating patients with Wilson’s disease.
