On 4th November 2019, was organized conference entitled ‘New opportunities and challenges in clinical trials in children’ at the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw. The conference was opened by the Director of the Institute – dr Marek Migdał with lecture regarding Children’s Chart Rights signed 30 years ago. In the first part of the meeting, the President of the Medical Research Agency Prof. dr hab. n. med. Piotr Czauderna present the role of ABM in clinical trials. Other areas discussed during the meeting were: GDPR, patient organizations, ethical issues of obtaining the consent from pediatric patient for the study and the use of modern technologies in clinical trial
